A Little About Me

Welcome to Wi-Fi at the Shore! My name is Mike Bolitho and I am a wireless network engineer for a large hospital system. I got my start in networking back in 2013 working in a remote NOC at a VAR. I left there for the ISP world and did break/fix for a while. Now I’m back on the enterprise side where I’ve been an operations engineer handling campus WAN/LAN/WLAN. I transitioned to wireless full-time about almost three ago so I figured I would spin up a blog to share the things I’m building and learning along the way.

I’m married and have two not so little kids. We just moved (Jan 2024) to South Jersey about two miles from the beach after living in Phoenix for over 15 years. This is where Jackie grew up and where so much family is. With remote work being a new normal, we made the decision to be near family. We try to spend as much time outdoors as we can which means a lot of walks and bike rides in the woods and sitting on the beach.
